摘要: Segmentation of patient data often is a mandatory step for surgical simulations featuring haptic rendering. To alleviate the burden manual segmentation we chose direct volume rendering based on CT gray values and partially segmented data. In this study, fields application are lumbar puncture spinal anesthesia. We focus new evaluation method driven by ray-casting to define paths from skin canal. comparison our reference system AcusVR newer algorithm, force outputs found be similar in 99 % tested paths.
