摘要: This introductory review on plasma health care is intended to provide the interested reader with a summary of current status this emerging field, its scope, and broad interdisciplinary approach, ranging from physics, chemistry technology, microbiology, biochemistry, biophysics, medicine hygiene. Apart basic processes restrictions requirements set by international standards, focuses interaction prokaryotic cells (bacteria), eukaryotic (mammalian cells), cell membranes, DNA etc. In so doing, some unfamiliar terminology—an unavoidable by-product research—is covered explained. Plasma may fast efficient new path for effective hospital (and other public buildings) hygiene— helping prevent contain diseases that are continuously gaining ground as resistance pathogens antibiotics grows. The delivery medically active 'substances' at molecular or ionic level another exciting topic research through effects walls (permeabilization), excitation (paracrine action) introduction reactive species into cytoplasm. Electric fields, charging surfaces, flows etc can also affect tissue in controlled way. field young hopes high. It fitting cover beginnings New Journal Physics, since it physics non- equilibrium chemistry) room temperature atmospheric pressure plasmas have made development possible.
