摘要: Accumulating evidence suggested that inflammatory processes are involved in the development of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Here, we have tested hypothesis Caprylic Acid (Cy)-diacylglycerol (DAG) oil (Cy-DAG), a novel structurally formulated lipid with high nutritional value, ameliorated DN streptozotocin (STZ)-induced rats through anti-inflammatory mechanisms. Basic hematological, biochemical parameters, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry analysis were performed to observe potential Cy-DAG oil. The data revealed STZ significantly increased renal oxidative stress markers decreased levels enzymatic non-enzymatic antioxidants. Moreover, nitric oxide (NO), tissue necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer activated B cells (NF-κB) also STZ-treated rats. Further, DAG pretreatment produced significant improvement antioxidant status, reduced peroxidation kidney. Similarly, results protein expression showed normalized Nrf2/Keap1 its downstream regulatory proteins condition. Immunohistochemical observations provided further effectively protected kidney from STZ-mediated damage. These STZ-induced injury by activation AKT/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway inhibition ROS/MAPK/NF-κB pathway.
