摘要: This review summarizes the current state of scientific understanding apoptosis pathway, with a focus on proteins involved in their interactions and functions. forms rationale for detailing preclinical clinical pharmacology drugs that modulate pivotal this emphasis are furthest advanced development as anticancer agents. There is describing three most promising targets namely antibodies bind activate death receptors, small molecules inhibit anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins, antisense oligonucleotides inactivate inhibitors apoptosis, all which drive equilibrium apoptotic pathway towards apoptosis. These structurally different yet functionally related groups represent novel approach to therapeutics whether used monotherapy or combination either classical cytotoxic other molecularly targeted
