摘要: Fish species have been used to compare the ecological characteristics of two surface waters in same geo-ecological zones Central Niger Delta. The authors carried out 24 expeditions along Kolo and Otuoke Creeks Study Area for purpose comparing these that are zone. Duplicate surveys were conducted across three fishing seasons Area, traditional eco-livelihoods knowledge experienced fishermen was explored during survey ensure captured spatial temporal variation fish distribution creeks. result our study shows there no significant statistical differences between based on following indices: relative percentage abundance; richness; diversity index; Shannon Simpson index. Furthermore, Bray-Curtis similarity index demonstrate ecologically significantly similar. implication findings is attributes water zone not different absence major environmental noise or human induced stress.
