摘要: Ecosystem Management (EM) is a new holistic approach to the management of natural resources. It integrates scientificknowledge on ecological interrelationships and complex socioeconomic political frame values, aiming at long-term sustainability region, i.e., ecosystem. Itincludes human, biological dimensions, canregulate internal structures functions ecosystem, and inputs outputs from it, so that solutions development protection problems can be achieved socially well-accepted. has been given attention since 1991,mainly in U.S.A., where existing legal framework formeda basis for EM. The former experience programs based traditional methods management, goal sustainable stated by many governmental, public or private agencies, advent scientific knowledge, permitted theoretical Today, significant number EM have established are progressin U.S.A. Here concept, general principles methodology reviewed, program Stateof Florida presented, which considered successful case study. In addition, examples managementof two very important ecosystems Northern Greece critically presented comparison, order evaluate if they characteristics.
