摘要: Although evidence for the existence of vasodilator nerve fibers was first presented by Ludwig in 1851, this basic fact is still dispute. Ludwig, and later Claude Bernard 1872, demonstrated remarkably pronounced vasodilatation that occurs submaxillary gland when chorda tympani stimulated. Both these early authors assumed a “direct” action on blood vessels.
