摘要: Combining several different approaches, we have examined the structure, variability, and distribution of Tvv1 retrotransposons. is an unusual example of a low-copy retrotransposon metapopulation dispersed unevenly among very distant species promising for development molecular markers. Retrotransposons are ubiquitous throughout genomes vascular plants, but individual families tend to be confined level plant genus or at most family. This restricts general applicability family as markers. Here, characterize new named Tvv1_Sdem, member Copia superfamily LTR retrotransposons, from genome wild potato Solanum demissum. Comparative analyses based on structure sequence showed high similarity Tvv1_Sdem with Tvv1-VB, previously described in grapevine Vitis vinifera. Extending analysis other by silico vitro approaches revealed presence Tvv1 members potato, tomato, poplar genomes, led identification full-length copies these species. We were also able identify polymorphism UTL sequences between cultivated potatoes that useful our results suggest retrotransposons has monophyletic origin been maintained both rosids asterids, major clades dicotyledonous since their divergence about 100 MYA. To knowledge, represents comprising highly similar disjointedly The twin features evolutionarily diversity its region each make it source robust markers studies breeding.
