摘要: In the present research, experimental studies have been devoted to investigating behavior of self-compacting Concrete Filled Steel Tube (CFST) stub columns strengthened by Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminates. A total 28 under monotonic compression load were tested in order discover best configuration CFRP for confined column system, fourteen specimens with circular cross-sections (100x300) mm and another square (100x100x300) mm, each can be classified into three categories: hollow steel tube columns, plain SCC eight filled columns. The results indicated that use laminates strengthen CFST has a significant effect on overall such as enhancement its strength ductility. Also confinement delays local buckling tube, prevents sudden reduction caused increases lateral concrete core. It is found tubes system transverse percent increase ultimate (31.1%, 254.3%, 43.4%, 101%) respectively, longitudinal (30.5% 25.66%) respectively. While rings four 37.5mm width both (24.15% 17.1%)
