摘要: Cerebral motor evoked potential (MEP) monitoring during arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization is not well studied (Soderman et al. 2003). Alterations of cerebral blood flow (CBF) could cause ischemia/infarction to the cortex. Permanent loss MEPs correlated with a permanent deficit. We report case patient undergoing AVM which transcranial electrical potentials (TCeMEP) reliably predicted changes CBF induced by selective methohexital testing. Our finding demonstrated that are useful means intraoperative pathway integrity and predicting changes. The MEP prevented severe postoperative deficits. Intraoperative neuromonitoring SSEP, TCeMEP continuous EEG revealed no until posterior artery (PCA), but anterior (ACA), was injected. may be superior somatosensory (SSEP) in impairment surgery.
