摘要: This paper investigates how changing the ZnO nanorod size and concentration in a smectic liquid crystal affect order of current-voltage (I-V) curves these nanorods - octylcyanobiphenyl (8CB) nanocomposites. 7 × 5 × 5 18 × 7 × 7 nm3 show an improvement alignment with increasing weight percentage nanoparticles, up to approximately 35% wt., similar our previous results on nanoparticles 8CB. The resulting I-V are comparable those obtained other organic materials used for photovoltaic applications. response nanorod-liquid nanocomposite represents magnitude over what was spherical nanoparticles.
