摘要: SYNOPSIS The term cranium bifidum includes the encephaloceles and cranial meningoceles. Though rarer than spina bifida, these conditions are not uncommon, their management can be difficult. A series of 14 patients is presented to illustrate problems, show that treatment produce good results where there no crippling associated cerebral dysplasias. The value contrast radiological investigations demonstrate dysplasias emphasized. Some interesting unexplained variations in geographical incidence this condition discussed.
