摘要: The study of orthographic errors in a transparent language like Spanish is an important topic relation to writing acquisition. development neuroimaging techniques, particularly functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), has enabled the such relationships between brain areas. main objective present was explore patterns effective connectivity by processing pseudohomophone among subjects with high and low spelling skills. Two groups 12 Mexican each, matched age, were formed based on their results series ad-hoc spelling-related out-scanner tests: High Spelling Skills group (HSS) Low (LSS). During fMRI session, two experimental tasks applied (spelling recognition task visuoperceptual task). Regions Interest (ROIs) signal values obtained for both tasks. Based these values, SEMs (Structural Equation Models) each competence (HSS LSS) through ML (Maximum Likelihood) estimation, model best fit chosen case. Likewise, DCM (Dynamic Causal estimated all conditions across groups. HSS group’s SEM suggest that, task, right middle temporal gyrus, and, lesser extent, left parahippocampal gyrus receive most significant effects, whereas show less complex but still congruent previous results, role several In general, are consistent major findings partial studies about linguistic activities they first analyses statistical languages.
