摘要: This paper considers a heterogeneous network, which consists of one macro base station and numerous small cell stations (SBSs) cooperatively serving multiple user terminals. The first objective is to design cooperative transmit beamformers at the maximize network energy efficiency (EE) in terms bits per joule subject users’ quality service (QoS) constraints, poses computationally difficult optimization problem. commonly used Dinkelbach-type algorithms for optimizing ratio concave convex functions are not applicable. develops path-following algorithm address computational solution this problem, invokes only simple quadratic program moderate dimension each iteration quickly converges least locally optimal solution. Furthermore, problem joint beamformer SBS assignment three-objective (EE, QoS, loading) also addressed. Numerical results demonstrate performance advantage proposed solutions.
