Downlink Beamforming for Energy-Efficient Heterogeneous Networks With Massive MIMO and Small Cells

摘要: A heterogeneous network (HetNet) of a macrocell base station equipped with large-scale massive multi-in multi-out (MIMO) antenna array overlaying number small cell stations (small cells) can provide high quality service (QoS) to multiple users under low transmit power budget. However, the circuit for operating such network, which is proportional antennas, poses problem in terms its energy efficiency (EE). This paper addresses beamforming design at optimize EE QoS constraints and Beamforming tailored weak, strong, medium cross-tier interference HetNets proposed. In contrast conventional strategy meeting users’ requirements, suggest use few hundred it found out that overall quickly drops if this exceeds 50. It that, given HetNet more efficient than MIMO when considering consumption.
