Is the impact of public investment neutral across the regional income distribution?: evidence from Mexico

摘要: This article investigates the contribution of public investment to reduc- tion regional inequalities, with a specific application Mexico. We examine impact according position each region in condi- tional distribution income by using quantile regression as an empirical technique. The results confirm hypothesis that inequalities can indeed be attributed investment; observed pattern shows mainly helped reduce among richest regions.
