摘要: This paper focuses on the behavior of output per person and employment in Mexico's northern border. We compare growth region with respect to national averages, this for purpose diagnosis subsequent design public policy. The basic assumption is that investment has a favorable impact employment. used panel data model evaluates specified variables includes foreign direct investment, gross formation fixed capital education. results do not confirm our hypothesis. found negative relationship between production employment, which can be explained by effects crowding-out government spending private investment.
