Biodegradable nanocomposites obtained by ball milling of pectin and montmorillonites

摘要: Two composites of apple peel pectin with 3% either a natural or an organically modified montmorillonite clay, were prepared using new alternative method, that relies on solid-state mixing at room temperature high energy ball milling(HEBM). This technique involves efficient the organic and inorganic components by mechanical grinding. The milled powders cast water as films characterized. absence peak, corresponding to basal spacing in X-ray diffractograms composite samples allowed us suggest dispersion clay inside matrix takes place exfoliation sheets. physical properties such thermal degradation, elastic modulus, sorption diffusion vapour oxygen analysed. It was found they all improved nanocomposites, particular sample containing sodium montmorillonite.
