摘要: Abstract The technique of high energy ball milling (HEBM) was used to prepare nanocomposites poly(e-caprolactone) (PCL) and an organically modified Mg–Al layered double hydroxide. amount inorganic material varied from 0 6 wt%, the samples were melted quenched in ice–water after milling. molecular weight PCL decreased its distribution increased as a consequence structural analysis milled samples, conducted by X-ray diffraction infrared absorption techniques, showed that 12 hydroxydodecanoates organic modifier still attached lamellae even if partial delamination compounds occurred. mechanical parameters (modulus, stress at yield point, strain break point values) derived stress–strain curves, improved composite containing up 2.8 wt% filler, with respect pure polymer, spite decrease. thermodynamic diffusion coefficient water vapor lower than PCL, indicating improvement barrier effect.
