摘要: Two distinct novel antigen systems preferentially expressed in rat granulocytes and macrophages were detected using two different monoclonal antibodies (R2-1A6 R2-2B1). These reacted with approximately 50% of bone marrow cells, most granulocytes, blood monocytes, alveolar peptone-elicited peritoneal macrophages, but not red platelets, thymocytes T lymphocytes. In addition, R2-2B1 R2-1A6 antibody cross-reacted weakly B cells. monoclonals also some reticular elements lymphoid organs including epithelial cells the thymic medulla follicular dendritic germinal centre, as well specialized endothelium marginal sinuses spleen post-capillary venules lymph node, where lymphocyte recirculation takes place. antibodies, however, did label so-called 'dendritic cells' bearing Ia antigens on their cell surfaces, which found to be located medulla, thymus-dependent areas tissues interstitium various non-lymphoid organs, suggesting that these presumably ascribed those associated accesory function, are separable from mononuclear phagocyte system rats by reactivities antibodies.
