摘要: We have previously reported that bleomycin and its derivative peplomycin enhance the release of cytokines by rat spleen cells during mitogen-stimulated cell culture in vitro, but liblomycin, another bleomycin, decreases cytokine to below untreated control levels. Cytokine correlated well with inhibition subcutaneous tumour growth after treatment equivalent doses three analogues. In contrast, ascites is completely inhibited liblomycin appears be at least partly macrophage-mediated because antitumour effect can significantly carageenan. This study shows analogues activate peritoneal macrophages increase interleukin-6 release, O2− production, spreading, phagocytosis random migration macrophages, only enhances macrophage invasion into a monolayer lung endothelial vitro. also although production less effective than against tumour, as we reported, drug activates and, compared has remarkable therapeutic on tumour.
