Determination of Sulfur in Pharmaceutical Preparations Using Reversed-Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

摘要: A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the determination of sulfur in topical pharmaceutical preparations. The mobile phase consisted methanol-5% acetic acid water (85 : 15). analysis carried out using an octadecyl silica column (5 μm, 4.0 mn i.d.×125 mm), with spectrophotometrical detection at 254 nm. Pyrene used as internal standard. calibration curve linear a correlation coefficient >0.9996 range 1-3 μg injected. This is very useful ointments containing other antibacterial or antiinflammatory drugs.
