摘要: Microdialysis is a technique that may be used to directly investigate brain chemistry in-vivo. Although initially developed over 35 years ago (Ungerstedt and Pycock 1974), it only relatively recently studies have begun utilise microdialysis in patients with glioma other tumours. In this chapter we will review the general principles of microdialysis, use pathogenesis evaluate chemoand radiotherapy, potential utilisation retrograde administer chemotherapeutic agents tumour bed.
