Molecular Systematics of Genus Atractylodes (Compositae, Cardueae): Evidence from Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) and trnL-F Sequences

摘要: To determine the evolutionary relationships among all members of genus Atractylodes (Compositae, Cardueae), we conducted molecular phylogenetic analyses one nuclear DNA (nrDNA) region (internal transcribed spacer, ITS) and chloroplast (cpDNA) (intergenic spacer trnL-F). In ITS + trnL-F trees, form a monophyletic clade. is sister group Carlina Atractylis branch. species were distributed three clades: (1) A. carlinoides (located in lowest base tree), (2) macrocephala, (3) lancea complex, including japonica, coreana, lancea, subsp. luotianensis, chinensis. The taxonomic controversy over classification mainly concentrated complex. on results, intraspecific division not supported, coreana should be treated as synonym
