摘要: Abstract Background Plasma pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide (PACAP) concentrations are elevated after traumatic brain injury. We assessed the prognostic value of PACAP for short-term and long-term mortality acute intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients. Methods A total 150 patients age- gender- matched healthy controls were recruited. The plasma measured using sandwich immunoassays. ICH severity was hematoma volume National Institutes Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score. end points included 1-week 6-month mortality. relationships between analyzed statistically. Results statistically significantly higher in than correlated positively with volumes NIHSS scores a multivariate linear regression. Multivariate analysis results indicated that concentration an independent predictor mortality, overall survival. It also had high predictive based on receiver operating characteristic curve. Conclusions increased highly associated ICH; may be good ICH.
