摘要: The circadian (near 24-h) clock is involved in the temporal organisation of physiological and biochemical activities many organisms, including humans. functions through rhythmic transcription translation several genes, forming an oscillatory feedback loop. Genetic analysis has shown that exists both a central pacemaker (i.e. suprachiasmatic nucleus hypothalamus), as well most peripheral tissues. In particular, clockwork genes are expressed all female male reproductive tissues studied so far, conceptus itself. current data clearly show robust rhythm tissues, but whether rhythmicity also remains uncertain. Although expresses canonical their expression still under investigation. Published indicate environmental genetic manipulations influence function fecundity, suggesting important role for reproduction, possibly early development.
