摘要: Clock gene expression has been observed in tissues of the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal (HPG) axis. Whereas contribution hypothalamic oscillators to timing reproductive biology is well known, role peripheral like those ovary less clear. Circadian clocks might play a ovulation. Disruption clock ovarian cells or desynchrony between and circadian elsewhere body may contribute onset progression various pathologies. In this paper, we review evidence for function across number species offer novel perspective into normal physiology diseases that negatively affect fertility.
