摘要: Female reproductive function changes during aging with the estrous cycle becoming more irregular transition to menopause. We found that intermittent shifts of light-dark disrupted regularity cycles in middle-aged female mice, whose were regular under unperturbed 24-hr cycles. Although mice deficient Cry1 or Cry2, core components molecular circadian clock, exhibited youth, they showed accelerated senescence characterized by and unstable resultant infertility middle age. Notably, tuning period length environmental closely endogenous one inherent Cry-deficient females restored and, consequently, improved fertility These results suggest potential can be strongly influenced age-related system normal functioning rescued manipulation timing signals.
