摘要: Although fibroids are common benign tumors, their impact on women's quality of life can be considerable. The most frequent symptoms uterine bleeding, resulting in anemia, and pelvic pain. Fibroids genetic or hormonal origin arise from intrauterine events. Current options for medical treatment include control estradiol progesterone production action discussed this review. curative relies surgical strategies, the current trend is uterine-sparing to preserve fertility avoid unnecessary surgery. Currently approved treatments progestin delivery reduce GnRH analogues, and, more recently, selective receptor modulators bleeding fibroid volume.
