摘要: OBJECTIVE: Uterine leiomyoma produce an extracellular matrix (ECM) that is abnormal in its volume, content, and structure. Alterations ECM can modify mechanical stress on cells lead to activation of Rho-dependent signaling cell growth. Here we sought determine whether the altered produced by was accompanied state homeostasis. STUDY DESIGN: We measured response paired myometrial samples performed immunogold, confocal microscopy, immunohistochemical analyses. RESULTS: Leiomyoma were significantly stiffer than matched myometrium. The increased stiffness alteration ECM, shape, cytoskeleton leiomyoma, compared with from same uterus. Levels AKAP13, a protein known activate Rho, AKAP13 associated cytoskeletal filaments immortalized cells.
