摘要: Abstract Objective: We previously identified a protein, Brx, that interacted with estrogen receptor α. Sequence analysis determined Brx is novel member of the Dbl family oncoproteins involved in signaling pathways regulate cell growth. Because protein was found to be highly expressed hormoneresponsive breast epithelium, objective this study determine whether both normal and neoplastic ovarian tissues. Study Design: A polyclonal antiserum directed against used perform immunolocalization on sections from 5 ovaries 20 neoplasms. Chromosomal localization brx gene accomplished by means fluorescence situ hybridization. Northern Western blot analyses were performed extracts prepared human ovaries. Results: localized cytoplasm granulosa cells mature graafian follicles, corpus luteum, islands hilar In tumors low malignant potential carcinomas epithelium stained strongly for protein. analyses, respectively, confirmed expression messenger ribonucleic acid ovary. Finally, 15q25. Conclusion: The proto-oncogene specific tissues also present epithelial (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2000;182:286-95.)
