摘要: Abstract Semicrystalline polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) films have been irradited with different ion beams and energies ranging between 0.1 keV/amu 6 MeV/amu. Polymer modifications induced by the irradiation, for electronic nuclear energy stopping, investigated in situ a highly sensitive quadrupole mass spectrometer. Ion irradiation of PVDF produced ejection H 2 HF molecules high chemical yield. Switching on beam, measured yields show prompt (for ) slow HF) component molecular emission, which depends energy, fluence polymer temperature. Along track, deposition produces density active species, give rise to desorbed molecules, cross-linking processes very stable residual carboneous film. At room temperature, diffusion coefficient irradiated is order 10 −8 cm /s. The structural ex X-ray diffraction optical absorption. along track can be useful realize bio-membranes through grafting process.
