Is Brief Better? A Modified Brief Solution-Focused Therapy Approach for Adults with a Developmental Delay

摘要: Abstract Although the clinical literature reports that psychotherapists have increasingly used brief solution-focussed therapy with a variety of populations, there is no mention use this model adults who developmental delay. This descriptive paper discusses modified solution focussed approach clients at Surrey Place Centre and authors' initial attempts to evaluate it. We found our was most successful for those were higher functioning, self-referred, supported in therapeutic process by others.
