摘要: Purpose To delineate cardiac structures on postmortem computed tomography (PMCT) and quantitatively to prove dilatation of the heart after death. Materials methods Our subjects were 50 PMCT non-traumatic deaths CT living persons (live CT). We measured maximal minimal diameters superior vena cava (SVC) at three levels (upper, middle, lower), inferior (IVC), pulmonary artery (PA), vein (PV), right atrium (RA), left (LA). Then product by diameter eccentricity calculated. Results The significantly longer than those live except for 1) SVC upper level 2) PA. All products larger CT. eccentricities decreased death LA. Conclusion is dilated PMCT, side it dilates toward a round shape.
