摘要: Measures of torque were used to evaluate changes in muscle strength and endurance 17 patients with post-polio syndrome who did prescribed resistance exercise for up 2 years. Exercise compliance averaged 75%, 16 subjects increasing the weight lifted training. Maximum was significantly increased exercised compared control muscle; no difference seen endurance. Individuals can increase by doing non-fatiguing exercise, but they should undergo quantitative testing a minimum every 3 months guard against overwork weakness.
