摘要: Abstract. Event landslide inventory maps document the extent of populations landslides caused by a single natural trigger, such as an earthquake, intense rainfall event, or rapid snowmelt event. are important for susceptibility and hazard modelling, prove useful to manage residual risk after landslide-triggering Standards preparation event lacking. Traditional methods based on visual interpretation stereoscopic aerial photography, aided field surveys. New emerging techniques exploit remotely sensed data semi-automatic algorithms. We describe production comparison two independent inventories prepared Pogliaschina catchment, Liguria, Northwest Italy. The show triggered 25 October 2011, were through digital photographs taken 3 days 33 processing very-high-resolution image WorldView-2 satellite 4 compare qualitatively quantitatively using established new metrics, we discuss reasons differences between maps. expect that results our work can help in deciding most appropriate method prepare reliable maps, outline advantages limitations different approaches.
