摘要: Human noroviruses are the primary cause of foodborne gastroenteritis. Potent and safe inhibitors needed for treatment/prophylaxis norovirus infections. We demonstrate that Favipiravir [T-705, a drug in advanced clinical development treatment infections with influenza virus] inhibits vitro murine replication. Time-of-drug addition studies reveal T-705 exerts its activity at time-point coincides onset viral RNA synthesis, which is line polymerase as presumed target.
