摘要: Taif-roses are a famous rose type that cultivated i n Taif region and well known with their deep in tensive fragrance the Arabian World. Despite of grea t economical importance for kingd om Saudi Arabia, genetic origin has not been yet elucidated. The present study was mainly aimed to assess relationship between som e genotypes grown some kingdom neighboring countries using molecular markers aromatic amino acids contents. Three namely Hada, Shafa-1 Shafa-2 were compared nine different Egypt S yria. Out 12 RAPD, 8 ISSR SSR primers used, clear repeatable band profile 8, 6 7 obtained from three markers, respectively. Tota l 111, 64 15 bands polymorohism 96.4, 90.6 93.3% SSR, discriminating power led efficient grouping ros Unweighted Pair Group Method (UPGMA). Among genotypes, Syrian-Gory shown highest similarity 75, 92 65% Shafa-2, established dendr ogram clearly separated into fo ur major groups which genot ypes clustered same group Gory -Syrian genotype. Moreover, data revealed among studied contents aromati c -Hada followed by Egyptian Balady 1. While Dutch 1, 2, 3 tulip 1 , 2 recorded be lowest. Together, these res ults indicate Taif-rose closed rel ations rose-Syrian Syria. Additiona lly, reproducible protocol In vitro propagation, genotype (Hada) developed.
