摘要: Isolated livers from rats fed soybean protein isolate and casein or amino acid mixtures simulating these proteins were perfused for 4 hours with Krebs-Henseleit buffer containing 0.15% glucose 25% human red blood cells. Feeding as compared resulted in a significant reduction of the secretion cholesterol, triglyceride apo A-I. The results agreed well responses serum counterparts reported previously. When mixture diets fed, however, no such difference could be demonstrated, though soy-type had also been shown to decrease cholesterol production rate total ketone bodies was same, but ratio beta-hydroxybutyrate:acetoacetate significantly higher plant protein. perfusate tended on These differences less clear feeding mixtures. Neither bile flow nor concentration biliary acids influenced by type dietary observations led us conclude that exerts cholesterol-lowering action primarily through regulation hepatic contribution. data suggested protein-dependent A-I might not explained thoroughly profile alone.
