摘要: As targeted and histology-specific conventional therapies are receiving greater attention in the management of lung carcinoma, category large cell carcinoma (LCC) is being increasingly scrutinized. LCC not otherwise specified can often be reclassified, using immunohistochemistry, as adenocarcinoma (AdCa) or squamous carcinoma. Molecular data on this indicate majority these cases show overlap with AdCa, a smaller group thus leaving subset that remains “undifferentiated.” Nevertheless, it unclear how apply to group. Large neuroendocrine subtype has similarity small Subtypes basaloid, lymphoepithelioma-like rhabdoid phenotype relatively rare potentially molecularly unique.
