摘要: We present measurements on mode-locked ring dye lasers that demonstrate the role of self-phase modulation in saturable absorber dye. The resulting bandwidth increase plays an essential ultrashort pulse generation, because it leads to intracavity compression presence normally dispersive components. various components (glass, coatings) is analyzed. As opposed extracavity compression, amplitude and phase show nonlinear can be completely compensated. interaction light with analyzed using Maxwell–Bloch equations. Next, we find steady-state solution for problem propagation through infinite periodic medium containing all elements (bandwidth-limiting filter, amplifier, absorber, component). condition solitary pulses unchirped enables us determine optimum dispersion, which, agreement experimental data, shortest pulses.
