摘要: Abstract Group velocity dispersion and self-phase modulation play a crucial role in the generation of ultrashort pulses from passively mode-locked dye lasers. A numerical model incorporating these effects is presented its validity tested case Rhodamine 110 laser which non-stationary mode-locking behaviour sometimes observed. Whereas group some circumstances combine to yield solutions that can be explained on basis nonlinear Schrodinger equation, we show this not here.
