摘要: Melatonin has been implicated in several neurotropic effects, but few studies have investigated the bioavailability of melatonin brain. The discovery periventricular sites action adjacent to third ventricle forced us investigate dynamics cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) release and source this melatonin. Our first study demonstrated unequivocally that CSF melatonin, like jugular plasma accurately reflects duration night is rapidly suppressed by light.
