摘要: We evaluated the change in body mass including fat and skeletal muscle one ultracyclist whilst cycling 1,000 km 48 hours at a constant intensity of ∼48% VO2max, corresponding to heart rate frequency ∼105 ± 5 bpm. A 1 kg decrease resulted, with largest occurring between 12th 24th hour. No steady state metabolism was observed no regular subcutaneous adipose tissue resulted. This result is backed up by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) urine analysis. Body water increase simultaneous dehydration possibly due endocrine-induced renal retention, order maintain processes that are required for energy supply blood flow during very prolonged exercise. Both applied methods, anthropometric bioelectrical impedance analysis, analyse fluid accumulation—especially skinfolds lower extremities—apparently incorrectly as an not fluids.
