摘要: ABSTRACT The measurement of tear break-up time (TBUT) in assessing stability the film is somewhat controversial, even though technique widely used. We examined reliability within and among examiners conclude that measurements TBUT can be made reliably; full-beam observation cornea preferable to scanning with a narrow slit making measurements. There may differences same subjects examiners, but these are smaller more experienced practitioners. In Hong Kong Chinese (HK-Chinese), appears likely first occur inferior periphery cornea. this population mean about 7.20 s; assuming Gaussian distribution values, 2.1 s should adopted as lower limit for normal HK-Chinese.
