摘要: The reproductive characteristics of a laboratory population the vole Microtus fortis calamorum were examined. Voles allowed to breed under feeding conditions. Over period 3 months, 61.82% 110 pairs examined produced or 4 litters. There 1-9 voles in each litter and mean size was 4.67±0.28 (mean±SE). Most litters included 3-7 young voles, accounting for 83.62% all farrowing interval 25.9 days (range from 19 95 days), most intervals 20-25 days, 79.9% total. When based on size, index 6.23, but 3.42 when pup survival. survival rate offspring weaning 55.03%. high infanticide that occurred after removal males cages indicates that, laboratory, both parents need be present prior weaning.
