摘要: A numerical investigation on natural convection in air a vertical heated channel, partially filled with porous medium, adiabatic extensions downward and collinear the plates is accomplished. The fluid flow assumed two-dimensional, laminar, steady state incompressible. material considered as homogeneous isotropic Brinkman-Forchheimer-extended Darcy model considered. finite-extension computational domain employed to simulate free-stream condition allows account for diffusive effects results are obtained using finite volume method by FLUENT. Results terms of wall temperature profiles presented evaluate main thermal geometrical parameters. determine decrease decreases increasing number.
