摘要: Abstract The problem of steady natural convection in an inclined porous cavity with a discrete heat source on wall is studied numerically. Non-Darcy and thermal dispersion effects are taken into consideration the momentum energy equations, respectively. Wall porosity, permeability also account. governing equations terms vorticity, stream function temperature solved numerically by finite difference method. It found that secondary vortex begins to appear at location above if media Rayleigh number sufficiently high; intensity increases eccentricity inclination angle cavity. For zero vertical uniform temperature, predicted average Nusselt numbers based present model be better agreement experimental data; similarity solution (based boundary approximation, Darcy law no infinite constant porosity medium) accurate for greater than 30.
