摘要: A 'G' antibody capture radioimmunoassay (GACRIA) to detect IgG Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) viral capsid antigen (VCA) in saliva is described. The monoclonal EBV VCA used the GACRIA bound non-specifically when testing samples having a total content of less than 2.0 mg/l, so giving false positive results. This problem was overcome by including 0.5% EBV-negative human serum diluent. performance assay then evaluated comparing test on and indirect immunofluorescence (IFA) results sera using panel paired serum/saliva samples. Compared corresponding IFA had sensitivity specificity 93.5 100%, respectively. Although sensitive samples, sufficiently be for epidemiological screening will enable anti-EBV carried out easily wide scale.
