Comparison of localization performance with implanted fiducial markers and cone-beam computed tomography for on-line image-guided radiotherapy of the prostate.

摘要: Purpose: The aim of this work was to assess the accuracy kilovoltage (kV) cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT)–based setup corrections as compared with orthogonal megavoltage (MV) portal image-based for patients undergoing external-beam radiotherapy prostate. Methods and Materials: Daily CT volumetric images were acquired after three intraprostatic fiducial markers. estimated couch shifts retrospectively patient adjustments based on two MV (the current clinical standard care in our institution).
