摘要: Purpose: The aim of this work was to assess the accuracy kilovoltage (kV) cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT)–based setup corrections as compared with orthogonal megavoltage (MV) portal image-based for patients undergoing external-beam radiotherapy prostate. Methods and Materials: Daily CT volumetric images were acquired after three intraprostatic fiducial markers. estimated couch shifts retrospectively patient adjustments based on two MV (the current clinical standard care in our institution). CBCT soft-tissue also by digitally removing gold markers each projection suppress artifacts reconstructed volumes. A total 256 15 analyzed. Results: Pearson coefficient correlation position using vs. kV ( R 2 = 0.95, 0.84, 0.81) left–right (LR), anterior–posterior (AP), superior–inferior (SI) directions, respectively. matching follows: 0.90, 0.49, 0.51 LR, AP SI directions. Bland-Altman analysis showed no significant trends data. percentage within a ±3-mm tolerance action level) 99.7%, 95.5%, 91.3% marker 99.5%, 70.3%, 78.4% matching. Conclusions: Cone-beam is an accurate precise tool image guidance. It provides equivalent means correction prostate implanted Use additional information provided visualization structures active area research.
